With the end of Don't ask don't tell in sight, soon gay and lesbian service members will no longer have to hide or lie about something as basic as who they are. They will be able to be open and free about who they love and I'm sure they, like myself, feel a little bit more love for their country because of that. I feel that with all the war in the world, the more people that can show some love the better.
