Whether you’re escaping a hectic Monday to Friday grind, the summer heat of the city, or an oppressive rural life (been there, done that), we all have the need to let ourselves go and leave it all behind, even if only for an hour or two.

I hadn't intended to put the rider in a striped shirt. That's just what I happened to grab when I decided to photograph myself, so I'd have a guide to follow for drawing his wind blown shirt. But I really like the way the stripes turned out. And as a reader of my blog commented, "I like the stripes... adds a-whole-nother dimension to the art and fantasy: the young businessman escaping work and the world."
