Every hot afternoon, he takes a break from working on the summer cottage and swaggers across the stream of vacation traffic to the town's ice cream shop. He doesn't quite know which flavor he will get, but he knows he will be greeted by a big grin from the young guy behind the counter. For a few moments, they each get to indulge in A Summer Treat.
With the last few days being so hot and muggy, there is really no need to explain my inspiration for this piece. I am just glad I got to work on it indoors with the air conditioning running!
