Before the forest takes its winter nap, before the blues, grays, and crystal whites take over the land and sky, Mother Nature treats us to a gorgeous blaze of color. It is an Autumn parade dressed up in brilliant yellows, reds, purples, and oranges. The forest sheds its outer layer not as a final farewell, but rather as a celebration, nourishing itself through the winter to ready for the rejuvenation of spring.
I've always loved the deep woods during the Fall when everything is bursting with those rich reds, oranges, and golds. With Bare in the Woods, I wanted to create a scene that feels like the ultimate escape into the wilderness, that exact moment you hike out far enough to leave the rest of the world behind, shed your outer layers, and just breathe.
