Whether you look forward to cool, crisp sheets or prefer a snuggly, warm blanket, the Bed is our ultimate sanctuary for total relaxation of both body and mind. It is our most intimate space, a realm where we are at our most unguarded and vulnerable.
With this piece, I wanted the composition to feel entirely enveloping and focused, omitting any background distractions to zoom in on pure intimacy. Working with an almost entirely white canvas of tangled sheets presented a wonderful challenge in pastel, requiring subtle shifts in cool blues and soft greys to build depth and texture.
