First, there’s the harsh lighting and stark, sterile atmosphere. Add in the bizarre equipment along with feeling naked and vulnerable, and it just takes the touch of a looong, cold finger to send you running for the hills!
This piece was all about capturing a comedic, chaotic narrative through perspective and movement. I focused on the dramatic contrast between the clinical, cool blues and greens of the hospital hallway and the warm, frantic energy of the patient as he makes his escape. The real fun was in the details—rendering the wind-whipped hospital gown, the reflections stretching across the polished tile floor, and the exaggerated, menacing stretch of the doctor's oversized gloves in the background to emphasize the playful panic of the moment.
