Nature is a powerful force. While some argue that being gay is not natural, homosexuality occurs in humans and countless other species. The Grand Canyon, love, and homosexuality are all natural occurrences. They are neither right nor wrong. They just are.
The inspiration for Natural Wonder came the morning after my ex and I hiked the Grand Canyon. Sitting on the rim taking in its beauty, we felt proud of our accomplishment, realizing that the canyon is not something to be conquered, but an experience and a wonder to behold.
