The handsome buccaneer the Captain picked up at The Feathers tavern in Port Royal would be a fun companion on the next voyage. Or so he thought. Turned out the Captain’s ass wasn’t the booty this buccaneer was hoping to run off with.
Other than my Halloween and Christmas pieces, I don’t do too many that I would call fantasy or otherworldly. But, as it turns out, when I do, it’s usually at the beginning of a new year. I don’t know why this is. This year it makes sense to me though, with all that I have been going through, that I wanted to paint something fun and escapist.
