When you look at a piece of art, where does the image end and your own imagination begin?
For the Sexually Implicit series, I wanted to strip away the background noise and zero in entirely on the physical intensity of passion, a moment so consuming that the rest of the world completely fades away. But framing an intimate encounter so closely forced me to navigate the bizarre gray areas of censorship. We live in a culture that meticulously blocks, blurs, and restricts specific anatomy, yet everyone instantly knows exactly what is happening beneath the surface. With Sexually Implicit – Green, the second entry in this four-part color series, I chose to lean directly into that paradox.
