The Boss is the guy in charge, the man who could have a real impact on your destiny and holds the tools you’ll need to get ahead in the company.
My Father Figure series isn't just about celebrating the “Daddy” look. It also depicts those male archetypes in our lives that carry a natural air of authority. These are the men we may admire as role models, who ultimately help define our perception of masculinity. This particular piece captures that commanding presence. Working in pastel, I focused on leaning into his powerful stance, framing his chiseled, hairy chest and torso with an open white dress shirt while he grips the edge of his executive desk, demanding absolute attention.
