Even more than his wallet or the apps on his phone, what you want to know about a guy can truly be learned from his underwear drawer. Far more than a repository for briefs, it acts as a deeply personal space, a stash for passports, mementos, and a reflection of his inner self, whether geared toward quiet comfort or a little wild experimentation tucked in the back.
With The Underwear Drawer, I wanted to capture the vulnerability and intimacy of this private morning routine. Standing completely nude save for a white t-shirt hiked up his back, a muscular man leans down to pull open a wooden dresser drawer. The soft bedroom light gently illuminates the contours of his back and thighs, while a stack of books and a small vase of pink flowers on the dresser add a touch of quiet, everyday domesticity to this beautifully revealing moment.
