Some pieces demand a little playfulness, both in execution and title. Bottom is a cheeky nod to community dynamics and looking for the perfect match. Finding the right name for this painting was a journey in itself, and you can probably imagine the titles I eventually discarded before deciding to keep it simple. It is a challenging, unconventional pose that isn't easy to pull off visually, but I love how the vivid skin tones and high-contrast lighting came together in the end.
