A distant look on a lover's face… maybe the spark has faded, or maybe he is just thinking long and hard about his next move. Until you ask, all you know is that his mind is Elsewhere.
I love telling stories through my art. While I usually lean toward the whimsical and carefree, it is sometimes good to embrace a more serious side. Things can get a little heavy, but exploring the deeper, more complicated positions of a relationship is incredibly cathartic. Despite the moody atmosphere, bringing this piece to life was a deeply satisfying experience.
