I am comfortable with my body. I don’t mind being naked. I’m from the theater!" — Moira Rose (Schitt's Creek)

Meet Gregory, a powerful and uninhibited addition to my Mini Figurative series. He stands completely naked with a bold, self-assured posture, giving a playful, slight lick of his lip that lets you know he is entirely in control of the room. This full frontal presentation is a celebration of raw confidence and a ruggedly masculine build, matching an intense, heavy-lidded gaze with a physique that refuses to be ignored.

My drawing process focused on creating a commanding sense of presence. Working against the warm canvas, I mapped the strong light falling over his broad shoulders and chest, tracking down across his abs and thighs to emphasize his solid stance. Resting his hand firmly on his hip helps frame his midsection, using deep charcoal shadows to give his form weight and dimension while letting the completely uncensored view highlight all of his assets.
