Intimacy doesn't always lead to a happy ending. Sometimes it just leaves a heavy, complicated silence.
With Guilty Conscience, I wanted to explore the raw emotional aftermath of a secret encounter. While the naked man on the right sits quietly in his own thoughts, the real story centers on the man at the foot of the bed. Clutching his clothing in tense reflection, the weight of the betrayal is entirely his to bear. The catalyst for his regret lies on the nightstand of the very room they are occupying, the home he shares with his partner, who happens to be away. Having turned the framed photo face-down to hide his partner's gaze, he is left staring at the floor, unable to escape the cold reality of what he has done in their shared space.
