Startled from our bed, we peered out into the night. Lit by the full moon, we witnessed a stunning spectacle: a frenzy of witches gathering for Hexennacht, their traditional night to celebrate the end of Winter.
Even though Hexennacht technically occurs on April 30th, the folklore creates the perfect atmospheric imagery for my spooky, Halloween-themed piece.
