With Scent, I wanted to explore how a single, specific sensory trigger can heighten intimacy. Using colored pencil on pastel paper gave me the ability to build up soft, layered textures, which felt right for the warmth and closeness of the scene. The focus is really on that private, intense moment of connection, and how memory and desire can be tied to something as simple as a scent.
