Size DOES matter. The faces of two lovers larger than life on black paper really gives a strong punch. With this piece, I wanted to convey that euphoric, consuming feeling of passion, using the deep black background to make the intensity of the embrace pop. I actually had a small accident while mounting this one on foam board. Luckily, I was able to save it, and it remains one of my favorite studies in contrast and raw emotion.
