There are a lot of ways to work up a sweat, but spending time in a sauna is one of the few where you can do so while completely relaxing. Of course, there are certainly more physical activities you can enjoy in a sauna to speed the process along.
With Sweat, I wanted to capture that intense heat. I often use contrasting colors to set my subjects apart from their settings, but lately, I have been experimenting with a more monotonal palette. By using similar warm tones for both the handsome subject and the wooden background, I relied entirely on rich light and dark highlights for contrast.
