Much like window shopping, Trainspotting is a harmless way to pass the time on the way to your destination.
One of my favorite pastimes is people-watching, which partly explains my occupation as an artist. When taking the subway in New York City, I always found the experience to be a fascinating mixture of people coming and going at every stop. Regardless of seat availability, riders often stand for their short journey, gripping the pole just a foot or so away from you. When a handsome guy is standing right there in your face, how can you not look?
