Up every day before the crack of dawn to slog away at a relentless list of chores, this rugged cowboy has more than earned his afternoon siesta. Freshly bathed with his work clothes drying on the line outside, Tucker has nothing left to do but sink into a deep, restful sleep before his next big endeavor—the weekend.
Years ago, I painted a full frontal nude piece of a sleeping man. While I frequently revisit specific sensual themes, I generally try not to repeat a exact pose. However, this classic cowboy subject offered a fresh, slightly different perspective that felt entirely worth exploring.
