Man is nothing else, but what he makes of himself. — Jean Paul Sartre
Tyler has this incredible, quiet confidence about him that I really wanted to capture. By rendering him entirely in grayscale, it let me play with a lot of dramatic, high-contrast lighting to really sculpt out the contours of his chest, abs, and shoulders. I love how the light catches the side of his arm and thigh, giving him almost a statuesque look, while that direct, steady gaze of his brings a ton of soulful strength to the whole piece.
