I really was inspired by the beauty of this fall’s foliage. I also wasn’t really feeling the spookiness of Halloween this year and wanted to focus on the foliage and romance. While I did start this piece early, leaving the possibility of doing another more Halloween centric painting after, I knew I might not be able to and this would be my official Halloween painting of the year. And so here it is. I think the Jack-O-Lantern qualifies it as Halloween themed!
