“Startled from our bed, we peered out into the night. Lit by the full moon we witnessed the spectacle. A frenzy of witches had gathered for Hexennacht, their night to celebrate the end of Winter.”
Even though Hexennacht (a.k.a Witches’ Night, Walpurgis Night) occurs on April 30th, it still makes good imagery for a ‘Halloween’ themed piece.
