“Some days are meant to be spent naked in the pool”
Andrea is a friend via Facebook who lives in Italy. He and a partner recently had sent me a pic of themselves re-enacting my painting "Tie the Knot". So taking it to the next step it seemed fitting to do a painting of him. I did this painting from a camera phone pic he had up on his Facebook page. I needed to crop out a lot to bring focus and also did some altering of the background. The tough part was getting the rendering of the face, since by the time I enlarged it, it was very pixelated.
