“Equality for all! Why is that such a difficult concept for some to understand? Perhaps for some it’s simple ignorance. For others maybe it threatens their perceieved right to treat others as inferior. But if we are all citizens, shouldn’t we all have the same rights?”
There was a lot of social and political inspirations to draw upon for this piece. But visually it was the image of the uncle Sam "I want you" poster that I wanted to mirror.
