While it may not be a metropolis, living in the second largest city in New England can really make a guy long to just get away to a secluded cabin in the woods for the weekend. I like to imagine what it would be like waking up to freshly fallen snow; Not having to go shovel the sidewalk, but instead just letting myself give in to the feeling of solitude, isolation, and freedom. At least until I have to step out naked into the winter air to grab some wood!
