Other than my Hallowe’en and Christmas pieces I don’t do too many that I would call fantasy, other worldly, sci-fi. But, as it turns out, when I do, it’s usually at the beginning of a new year. I don’t know why this is. This year it makes sense to me though, with all that I have been going through, that I wanted to paint something fun and escapist.
