Waking up to the first snowfall of the season conjures such feelings of wonder, as if while you were sleeping the world around has been transformed into a magical place. Peering out at the pristine and pure landscape, for a brief moment you are a child once again. But soon your reverie is disturbed by the sound of the street plows. The day must begin, there are chores to be done. But at least you can take a cue from Snow White and whistle while you work.

Though I'm not the biggest fan of winter I do look forward to that first accumulating snowfall of the season. Once the leaves are gone it just looks so bland and dirty outside. But snow covers that all up, making everything look clean and fresh. Getting out fo the shower and slipping into some new white cotton undies seems to have a similar renewing affect for me.
