Driving out to the country for his sister's wedding, Brent doesn't expect to find any hot guys like the ones he's used to in the big city, until a local named Nick completely grabs his attention, which can be a pretty dangerous distraction when you are behind the wheel of a car.
Boston-based Romantics, a line of romance novels for gay men, originally commissioned me to do the cover art for their books, choosing two of my existing pieces for their first novels. I painted Nick of Time specifically for their third book, and it was a blast to create a narrative that leans into that classic romance novel energy while giving a playful nod to the kind of roadside attraction that makes you want to pull over.
