There are those perfect mornings when you simply do not want him to leave, and he is finding every reason to stick around.
In The Long Kiss Good Morning, I wanted to capture that heavy, intimate reluctance before the day pulls you apart. It is a moment packed with heat and tenderness, pinned against the wall where a simple goodbye breakfast quickly turns into tasting something much more delicious.
Lately, I have been working on minimalist Black and White pieces to shake up my creativity, but stepping back into a full color narrative like this allows me to build a complete emotional story. The challenge was balancing the industrial details of the loft, like the brick wall and retro blue fridge, with the intense softness of the embrace. I used rich pastels to contrast the crisp fabric of the clothing against smooth, warm skin, making the background feel like a real, lived-in space where time has completely stopped.
