New Release: "Cory"

When man and mother nature work together they can create a work of beauty.  For this pastel painting I used the abandoned marble quarry near my house as the backdrop: excavated by man, reclaimed by nature.

On the Drawing Board: the pop factor

Anyone who looks at my body of work can tell I love having my figures wet.  Sure, being wet or near water usually means less clothing, but it's also so much fun to give that slippery shiny look to skin.  No matter how light the tones might be, I won't use my brightest white until it's time to add the glistening highlights.  It just makes things pop!
