Into the Blue

Gallery Reception in 11 Days! I'll be showing my latest works in a two artist exhibit at Lyman-Eyer Gallery in Provincetown, MA. The opening reception is July 11th 7-9 PM. I've dubbed this collection Into the Blue and it will be on display until July 23rd.

I look forward to meeting old and new friends! Come stop by if you can, and also check out the paintings of Gregory Little who is the artist displaying with me.

On the Drawing Board: Making the trek

Last September when the Lyman-Eyer Gallery invited me to do a show this Summer, this was the first piece I did.  I knew I'd need to have quite a few works for the show so rather than release them all as I finished them I set some aside to release closer to the show.  This one in particular because it's about an experience very familiar to most the gay men who visit Ptown in the Summer.

New Release - Carl's Diner

I've recently been frequenting a few local diners for breakfast/brunch. The food is damn good, and I like that I'm supporting a local business. Anyway, that and a few hunky patrons are what inspired my latest work, Carl's Diner.

While the original is available for immediate purchase through the Lyman-Eyer Gallery, it won't be delivered until after my show ends.

Upcoming Summer Show!

I'm back this Summer for a show in Provincetown at the Lyman-Eyer gallery. As you may recall I took a much needed break from my annual exhibition there last year. This year I'll be easing back into the swing of things as part of a two person show.

I'm calling this selection of works Into the Blue. The opening reception for the show is July 11th, 7-9PM at Lyman-Eyer Gallery, 432 Commercial St. Provincetown. It coincides with what is known as Bear Week in PTown. The show will run until July 23rd. I'm looking forward to meeting old and new friends!

On the Drawing Board: Back to Work

It's been awhile since my last post, but I had surgery that was supposed to be fairly minor, then ended up being a bit more complicated.  Anyway I am home and mending.  I've managed to do a little work on the piece I started before my operation.  I'm having to take it easy, and will try to finish as many new works as I can before my show in July at the Lyman-Eyer Gallery in Provincetown. But I am behind schedule....speaking of behinds, how do you like what I've got done so far?

New Release - Suburbia

The quick growth of hook up apps has made it a lot easier for single gay guys to meet. But it's also made it a lot easier for 'straight' married guys to act on their carnal homosexual desires too. And ask any gay guy whose uses one of these apps, guys on the "down low" are hardly a rare exception.

My new work, Suburbia, is available for immediate purchase through the Lyman-Eyer Gallery, but must remain with the gallery through the end of my upcoming show this summer.
