On the drawing board: the return of the red truck
/This piece is a commissioned piece by the person who purchased "Red Truck" several years ago. I've gotten further along and the pivotal red truck makes its appearance, connecting the two pieces.

I've finally gotten back to actual artwork. I am enjoying this commission. I love the concept (cowboys at a swimming hole) and hope the client will love it too!
By the way, I need to get my 'real' camera out for better quality in progress pics than what I take with my phone. May that's my New Year resolution. :-)
I'm very pleased that two more of my works have found new homes! The original pastel paintings "Unsuitable" and "Tie The Knot" have been purchased by private collectors. Limited and open edition prints are still available.
"Prince of Tides" and "The Pick Up" originals have recently been sold to private collectors. Limited and open edition prints of both works are still available.
My new project is a commissioned piece. A client who bought the original "Red Truck" wants a sequel, a companion piece of sorts, also featuring the same old red pick up truck.
The "Red Truck" painting was inspired by a wine bottle label. A bottle of Red Truck Wine also appears in my piece "Night on the Town".
The "Christmas Time In The City" cards arrived last night! It's a small batch so the inventory is limited.
Available individually or at a discount in 5 or 12 packs.
"Christmas Time In The City" is also available in three size prints starting at $39.
My original "Power Bottoms" was sold to a private collector in Australia. He recently discovered my work from the spread in DNA Magazine. Thanks DNA!!! You're the best!
This week I also sold my new holiday original "Christmas Time In The City" to a long time collector in Canada.
Limited Edition prints of both works are still available!
"Christmas Time In The City" is my holiday piece for 2014. Definitely inspired by the warm romantic images conjured up in the song "Silver Bells".
Get 10% off the list price during the official Day of Issue on the Original & Prints. Now until approximately 8:00 AM EDT November 8, 2014.
Being a holiday piece it's offered in a very limited edition, only 12 Gallery prints and 25 Studio prints.
UPDATE: The original has sold to a private collector.
"Tie the Knot" and "Car's Diner" are now available as magnets! Check out the entire selection and add to your collection!
As much as I hate seeing Christmas stuff out this early, I realized long ago if I want to get a piece done in time, and perhaps make Christmas cards of it, I need to get started before the first frost.
Just a little snippet of the holiday piece I'm working on. Ho ho ho!
Welcome to the art of Michael Breyette.
Michael's pastel paintings capture the stunning beauty of the male form with warmth and sensitivity while never shying away from lustful eroticism.
